CHALLENGES:
In order to leverage technology to advance office management system, CDE ASIA LTD. wanted to implement a web application to take care all office project tracking and office employee involvement in projects. The application would assist with project live, employee tracking if they available in office or working from home or in leave. Their Department member can able to make/view their project updates.
SOLUTIONS:
Xaple Media first analysed the company’s business operations to understand all related objectives, requirements, and challenges for intranet design and development. Xaple Media then proposed an enhanced user-friendly Office Intranet System that will improve the business decision making process with precise data, project tracking, employee feedback, status and more.
The system stores all project data, live status, office employee working status, discussion, users can able to updates all project updates, status updates, new project entry, live project updates and many more.
IMPLEMENTATION:
An Intranet application was developed using the latest PHP framework technologies with MVC architecture, AJAX, and MySQL installed on a highly configured dedicated web server, with XML used for unifying data. Xaple Media worked with this company on implementing a solution that would be simple to use and integrate seamlessly with their existing operations. The solution included features like clients project and employee management, project live status and employee work status management, leave information, discussion, block meeting room, automated alerts and dynamic MIS reporting system.
RESULTS:
The workload of collecting, analyzing, and reporting data was reduced by automating those previously manual tasks with Xaple Media. The MIS Report quickly generates reports on the fly, while process automation enables employees to make informed decisions at the right time. Not only does this new system free up valuable resources, it also enables the client to provide better service to their clients, own employee/department.
